What is WordWorks Exeter?
It is a workshop for writers who would like feedback on their work. We welcome all types of writing – fiction, non-fiction, poetry. It is not a class and there is no tutor, just fellow writers.
In a typical session there are 8-15 attending with 6 – 8 reading.
Who’s it for?
It’s not suitable for absolute beginners, but we welcome those who would like to share their work and receive some constructive feedback.
When?
First and third Thursday of the month from 6pm to 8pm.
Where?
St Sidwell’s Community Centre on Sidwell Street, Exeter.
How does it run? How can I join?
It’s an informal group, and we take it in turns to chair but we understand that not everyone feels comfortable doing this. If you’re interested please feel free to turn up at a meeting and see whether it will be helpful to you in your writing. We usually head off to the pub afterwards
How much does it cost?
The first meeting is free so you can see if you would enjoy the group, after this it is £4 per meeting.
